The Virtual Blog Tour …

Hi ! … This post is a bit different from my ordinary posts … Because it is a tiny little part in what I think will become a world wide blog tour … And that´s why this post is written all in english … But that is only for this post … Next time is my post written both in swedish and english …

A-C is a woman with many talents … Of wich blogging is one … Photographing is another … She like to travel … And she  gladely share her travel experiences with us followers … In posts containing fantastic photos and informative text … 

She has a passion for nature and all the things that goes along with that … Which can be seen in her Warden Spirits blog … This passion is something we both share … 

Then we have Totti … Her beautiful Lagotto … You can meet him in all of her 3 blogs … So check them out … 

What is Virtual Blog Tour … 

It´s a relatively new project for bloggers …  The rules are fairly simple :

• Compose a one-time post which is posted on Monday … (date will be given to you from whoever passes on the tour)
• Answer four questions about our creative process which lets other bloggers and visitors know what inspires us to do what we do …
  1. What am I working on? 
  2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
  3. Why do I write/create what I do? 
  4. How does your writing/creating process work?  
• Then pass the tour on to up to four other bloggers … Get their permission first and give them rules and specific Monday they are to post …     

Now, I´ll do my best to answer those 4 questions below…

1.  I always loved being out in nature … So nature is the red thread in my blog … Despite if I write about my parents … Or the Wildlife … 

Another thing that i´m passionated about is the landscape Jämtland … And its history … So one can say that a tiny part of this blog is to get other people aware of this fantastic landscape, where I live  …

2.   I share my blog with my presious Yarri … He is my everything and I love him so incredible much  …

He is always with me … Except for when i´m at the hospital  … Yarri has a lot to say about the time we share … And the objects we take photos of … And happily share his thoughts in his part of our blog …

3.  I´ve been working within healthcare for almost 32 years now … But I never ever really understood the problems you can  meet on the way as a next of kin … Especially when your parents get old and sick … Health care is not so given, as you could belive …

I started this blog when my father got a vascular dementia caused by a cerebral hemorrage … And then my mother got diagnozed with Alzheimer´s dementia …

Having parents with two different kind of dementia isn´t easy … Especially not for them … For me as a daughter, it has been like being on a roller coaster journey …

This journey isn´t always happy … It contains a lot of sorrow … Anger … Hopelessness … Despair … Education … Acceptance … And how strange it might sound … Also a lot of joy …

Being a traveller on this dementia journey is a chance to learn new things together with your parent … And to accept that the relationship we had … From now on and forward … Is going to take a new and not so straight direction …

I´m trying to express and share my feelings … experiences … Without self-pity … My father isn´t with me any more … But my mother is … So my journey continues … And so does my blog … At least during this year … 

4.   My mood decides most of the time what my posts is going to be about … I try to compose a text that is understandably … Not just for me … And then I try to find photos that suits my text … 

But I can also do the opposite … Like in my last post about the Great grey Owl … In that post I started with my photos …  And then I start searching for a informative text …
